Students were spellbound, by a visit from the Forestry Department, on June 26th, 2019. They were fortunate to set eyes on an iguana, a boa constrictor and the national bird of St. Lucia, the Amazona Versi-Color. They learnt many interesting facts, asked lots of questions and even got a chance to listen to the calls of the Jacquot. A selected few participated in a planting exercise of the national flowers; the Rose and Marguerite.
A day filled with excitement. All in observance of World Day to Combat Desertification and Drought. Hats off to the Forestry Department and the work they do!
