A very interesting mix of visitors from Switzerland, Austria and Germany were given a grand tour today. They were welcomed with French songs and entertained with a dose of the folk dance – Mou La La. They enjoyed fresh local produce from the school greenhouse served by the students of Grade three and even got a chance to plant cucumbers for future visitors to do the same. The small group of curious travelers went through the grades to meet the students and engage in a brief exchange. A fortunate few got a chance to interview the guests as part of their SBA project on tourism.
This is the school’s third group of cruise ship visitors. Each visit has been a short but very memorable experience for everyone involved.
